EDUCATOR RESOURCES

At South Side Landfill, we are working to expand our educational programs.  We have offered facility tours for many years, and we still do today, but we are sensitive to the fact that with the current budget cuts faced by many school districts as well as the intensified educational requirements at every grade level, not every class that would like to visit is able to.  In response, we have invested a substantial amount of time developing a school visit program that will help teach your students about the science aspects of the landfill, solid waste management, and the environmental connections to the world around us.  And the best part...we bring it to you!
